"The Great Elm" Table & Chairs by Judd Gunstock, 1973

Made entirely from the "very large elm tree which grew near the west end of the medical centre, located on the McMaster University Campus, Hamilton, Ontario". Each of the 8 dining chairs is unique to itself. Hand carved legs. Swivelling bases. Finished in a high gloss resin. Made in Waterford, Canada by Judd Gunstock Ltd.

Dining table is in excellent condition. Chairs are in great condition with some of the bunch having been reinforced with glue at back of back rest [see 4th image - largely inconspicuous from afar].
