Swedish Samsas Armchair, 1960s

The Samsas Armchair is a Swedish modern classic and still recognized as one of the most iconic designs from Carl Malmsten. The Samsas was designed for O.H. Sjogren in the mid 20th century.  This particular example - assumed to be from the 1960s - has been reupholstered in a buttery cream textured fabric composed of polyester with a double rub count exceeding 100 000.
