Eros Marble Coffee Table by Angelo Mangiarotti for Gruppo Skipper, 1971

Design care of Angelo Mangiarotti for Gruppo Skipper. Made in Italy, 1971. Expertly crafted in Grey Mondragone marble from the province of Caserta, Campania, Italy.

Mangiarotti’s brilliantly conceived ‘gravity joint’ consists of conical legs which intersect with the table top. The weight of the marble top locks the legs in place. This joint is also an integral part of the visual design, providing the characteristic puzzle pattern corners.
