Elm Wood Burl Dining Table

Vintage elm wood burl veneer dining table with 2 removable leaf inserts. Surface has been stripped and re varnished in a polyurethane satin finish. Equipped with Watertown Slides. Table assumed to be made in the USA as a result. Assumed vintage, 1970s as per original owner.

There are a few raised spots on the veneer, particularly around the burl, however the resurfacing ensures that these raised areas are not proud of the varnish. A few other inconsistencies in the surface are outlined in the appending photos. Overall, the table is in good vintage condition with some character maintained in the refinishing process.
