Calida Lounge Chair by Giudici for Coim, 1970s

Calida lounge chair in original brown grid velvet upholstery. Design care of Arch. Guidici. Made in Italy, 1970s. Original upholstery is in excellent condition. Moulded plastic bases have been reinforced with fibreglass mats as most plastic moulded chairs are of this vintage [see photos]. Fibreglass is concealed to the underside of the chair and is meant to add strength to the cast/moulded plastic that sometimes would fail over time. Chairs are all structurally sound and priced for this alteration to the otherwise OEM chair as a result.
